Donna M. Hurst (Bird), 72, of Cobb Lake, formerly of Dorr, died Tuesday, July 23, at Faith Hospice Trillium Woods in Byron Center.

She was born Dec. 20,1951, to Ken and Ann (Joppe) Bird, who both preceded her in death. She married James (Gary) Hurst on July 3, 1970, in Wayland.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gary Hurst; daughters Moriya Hurst of Martin, and Tawnya Kamble of Middleville; grandson Arien Kamble of Middleville; brothers Steve (Laura) Bird of Dorr and Tim (Michele) Hurst of Lansing; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug.17, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral home 4330 18th St., Dorr. Light refreshments will be offered following visitation.
