Karon Lynema, age 59, died Sunday, Oct. 31.

Karon loved music, gardening, crafts and her dogs. Her faith was important to her and she loved her time spent at Sandy Pines Chapel.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Lynema; mom, Linda (Bruce) Hotrum; dad, LeRoy Beukema; daughters Christina (Rick) Edsall and Jennifer Boverhof; sons Nick (Nichole) Lynema, Ryan Lynema; seven grandchildren; sisters Nancy (Dave) Thornbury and JoAnn (Mark) Hibma; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 4330 18th St., Dorr.

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Karon, contributions may be made to Lacks Cancer Center.
