The highlight of the third week of the Wayland summer “Funtastic” series this week will a hands-on water science presentation at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Henika District Library.

Children can explore fun water and ice stations. Free water cannons to the first 100 kids to show up. Lunch then will be served from 11 to 11 a.m. at the Pine Street Elementary Café.

The schedule of free meals offered during the week:

• Monday, June 22 — Breakfast at Steeby Elementary from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Lunch at Steeby, 11:30 to noon.
• Tuesday, June 23 — Lunch at United Church of Wayland, 11:30 to noon.
• Wednesday, June 24 — Breakfast at Steeby, 8:30 to 9; lunch at Steeby, 11:30 to noon.
• Thursday, June 25 — Lunch at United Church of Wayland, 11:30 to noon.
• Friday, June 26 — Lunch at United Church of Wayland, 11:30 to noon.

NOTE: Lunches also will be served free of charge all week at Saw Mill Estates, Reno Drive, 11:30 to noon. The meals are free to all young people 18 and under. Adults may purchase them for $4 apiece.
