Elected king and queen of the Wayland High School Homecoming festivities Friday evening were seniors Kaharrie Pureifoy and Baillee Merren. Pureifoy may be in his street digs here, but he is one of the key offensive weapons for the Wildcats on the gridiron. Wayland won its homecoming contest against Middleville Thornapple Kellogg, 17-14.
