The Wayland High School marching band, under the direction of Kelli Tilley Smith, finished in second place in its division Saturday at the Grandville Invitational. The Wildcat ensemble last week too third place with a score of 84.4 at the Hastings Invitational and at Grandville recorded an 84.2. Wayland also was the top performer with Best Color Guard.
