The Wayland High School Robotics team #6090 won six of 10 matches in the world competition over the first two days Thursday and Friday in Houston. They went 3-2 in both days. They’ll find out Saturday if they get picked to be on one of top eight alliances to be in the playoffs. The local group of seven guys and three girls and their mentors captured the state championship earlier this month in Saginaw to earn the right to make the trip.
