Wayland schools’ food drive to help SNAP victims

Starting Monday, Wayland Union Schools will be host for a district-wide food drive to support 436 students who may be impacted by the temporary suspension of SNAP benefits.

“This is an opportunity for our community to come together and make a difference,” a district spokesperson said. “Every can, box, or bag of food donated helps a local family in need.

“Let’s come together and truly show what it means to be a Wildcat!”
