Wayland Union Schools will offer a “Meet Up and Eat Up” summer free meal program for children up to age 18 from July 9 to Aug. 8 at Steeby Elementary.
Free breakfasts will be offered 8 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays and lunches from 11 a.m. to noon. All meals must be eaten on site; there will be no provisions for takeout.
The meals will include an entree, fruit, vegetable and milk.
The school district’s food service, Chartwells, is sponsoring the program, and extension of the former Summer Fantastic series.
