Twenty-one Wayland High School Student Council members attended the MASC/MAHS State Conference Saturday at the Amway in Grand Rapids.
The Wayland Student Council won three awards:
- Award of Excellence
- Exceptional Service Project
- Star School Award
Taking Individual Awards:
- Hannah Henney won the Unsung Hero Award.
- Kayley Bodenberg was a Student of the Year nominee.
- Emily Drew, Jake Rewa, and Haylee Jasinksi presented on our Coaches vs. Cancer Charity Basketball game.
Students listened to three key note speakers, engaged in leadership activities, met new friends from the 100 schools in attendance, and had some fun.
