J.D. Gonzales, vice chairman of the Wayla
nd City Planning Commission, local events organizer and webmaster of the Townbroadcast site, is back in the director’s chair.
Gonzales, who has been directing budding thespians for 23 years, now is running the show for “The Beverly Hillbillies” at the Master Arts Theatre, located at 75 77th St SW, Grand Rapids.
Gonzales said on Facebook that he is following much of what was presented during the 1960s hit television comedy series, starring Buddy Ebsen, Irene Ryan, Donna Douglas and Max Baer Jr. However, he is promising a few wrinkles.
