West Michigan earthquake was 4.2, centered near Galesburg

News outlets have reported a 4.2 quake was centered about eight miles south Galesburg in Kalamazoo County. Public safety authorities have asked the public to refrain from calling 911 and police and fire stations. There were no injuries reported and the best way to get information was through broadcast and Internet news.
