The Wayland High School marching band Saturday braved a weather delay that included hail and sleet to compete in the Jenison Invitational. Director Kelli Tilley Smith said, “And with that, marching season is done. The kids did well despite gross weather and a delay. Jenison brought back many memories for me.” The band scored an 80.6 with excellence in marching, percussion and color guard. (Photo supplied)
