Bernadette Lemons Jurries, 68, of Byron Center, a 1967 graduate of Wayland High School, died Oct. 10.

She was born on June 28, 1949, to Harold and Lillia Lemons in Boyne City.

Bernadette is survived by her spouse of 37 years, Merle Jurries; three daughters Christine (Steve) M. Rodgers, Melony Lambright and Suzanne Soya; two sons, Rick Jurries and Brian (Lisa) Jurries; 10 grandchildren Cory Lambright, Andrew (Marcia) Lambright, Brittney (Eric) Chamberlain, Katie (Brad) Blauvelt, Joshua  Lambright, David Soya, Allison Wentzloff, Joey McPeck, Daniel (Kate) Soya, and Sara Wentzloff; 9-1/2 great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda (Mike) Hammond; three brothers Don (Nancy) Lemons, Bob Lemons, and Steve (Debbie) Lemons.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Lillia Lemons; brothers Michael Lemons and Ken Lemons, and great-grandsons Mark and Kenneth Soya.

The service was last Monday at Resurrection Life Chapel in Grandville, with burial in Hooker Cemetery, Leighton Township.
