Wayland High School graduate Tess Tobolic Marhofer continues to use her chalk artist skills for quality public projects. Most recently, her illustration was featured in the Journal of Neurosurgery with a case study of a rare pseudoaneurysm treatment. Marhofer, who now lives in Arizona, last year directed a small of group of painters of a mural next to the Wayland Hotel on West Superior Street, and not long ago was a featured artist in last year’s Tempe Festival of the Arts Chalk-A-Lot-Street fair in Tempe, Ariz.
