Wayland High School graduate Orland Smith is opening Bunker’s Smokehouse & Grill in downtown Hastings Monday. The eatery is just one block away from State and Jefferson Streets, at 101 W. Court. Smith said he and his group had a “test run” Thursday to iron out the kinks and prepare for Monday’s opening. He said he appreciated, “our amazing staff who have worked so hard to get here.We’ve found some things we can improve on and will keep refining in the coming days. It’s a journey!”
