Barry Brower, a 1963 graduate of Wayland High School, posted an entry on Facebook today, a picture of himself and three comrades as members of a folk music group from the early 1990s through 2005. “The Fossils” did issue some recordings of their music. “It’s interesting to go back and listen after allowing the music to ‘steep’ for awhile,” Brower posted. “We did the occasional gospel song and here’s one of them (band members for this recording: Doug Bright mandolin; Harley Worthington, banjo; Belle Chenault, bass; Barry Brower wearing hat, guitar).
