The Wayland High School Student Council received the 2016 Gridiron Giving Spirit of Giving Award Monday at the Gridiron Giving Celebration luncheon. They received the award for fund-raising efforts in early September to help support Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.  They were one of three schools in the Grand Rapids area to receive the award. The Gridiron Giving fundraiser is an OK Conference initiative and was able to raise $81,000 this year.
