There was a spectacular traffic pileup this morning on the I-96 expressway near Hudsonville that included more than 100 vehicles in a chain reaction crash. There also was traffic troubles on U.S.-131 near the Moline exit in the early afternoon. The second day of winter wind and snow storms managed to close the Hopkins, Wayland and Martin schools Tuesday. The photo was taken by members of the Michigan Storm Chasers.
