Work is progressing apace this winter on the new addition to Wayland Middle School. The expansion will create a wing for all sixth-graders in the local school district. Sixth-graders who were scheduled to attend either Dorr or Pine Street elementaries this fall will be brought to the middle school to ease overcrowding issues.
