Allegan County Central Dispatch has reported Friday night that southbound U.S.-131 was shut down at the Dorr exit (No.68)/142nd Avenue because of multiple vehicle slide offs, after 10:30 p.m.
So far, no injuries have been reported in Allegan County.
Residents and authorities have warned about hazardous traffic conditions Friday night night along U.S.-131 from the Dorr exit all the way to Martin, Exit No. 55. A blanket of snow and ice has created poor traveling conditions.
