The Wayland girls’ varsity basketball team now is 1-6 overall and 0-2 in O-K Gold Conference play.

The Lady Wildcats, who lost this past week 41-26 to Middleville Thornapple Kellogg and 44-28 to Wyoming, have failed to score as many as 30 points since they recorded their first win of the season against Lowell.

They will play East Grand Rapids in their next encounter.
