The Wayland City Zoning Board of Appeals will have a public hearing Tuesday, Nov. 1, on a request for a zoning variance from the 4 One 2 Distillery now located at 739 S. Main St.

The 4 One 2 Distillery formerly was located in the 100 block of South Main at the corner of Pine Street before owners and operators Nissa Smith and Anthony Winters decided to move it south next to the VFW post and their Stop, Drop and Play video arcade.

Winters has indicated on Facebook that if approval is not granted, there will be no more 4 One 2, which besides distilled liquor sells foods, particularly tacos.

Smith and Winters also have been known for being community activists, co-sponsoring twice the Balloonfest celebration just north of town over the past two Septembers.

The hearing will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the City Hall council chambers, 103 S. Main St.
