Rick Alan Alderton, age 53, died Aug. 21.

Rick was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan with his nephews and many friends. His love for hunting is shared by his two brothers.

His many adventures include bear hunting in Canada, snow goose hunting in Indiana, and antelope and deer hunting in Wyoming.

He is survived by his fiancée, Nyi Nyi Sung; siblings Carl Alderton Jr., Laura Eding, Amy Das, and Dirk Alderton along with their spouses; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Dorothy Alderton.

A private family celebration of life was held in his honor. Pastor Scott Eding, his brother-in-law, officiated.
