Hopkins boys win, but girls’ 4-game victory streak ends

The Hopkins boys won big Friday night by pasting O-K Silver Conference foe Belding, but the Lady Vikings earlier in the evening had their four-game streak ended.

The Viking boys, now 3-7 for the season overall ran past Belding 66-24. The Hopkins girls, who own a 5-6 overall mark, went down 55-32.

Wayland boys suffered an O-K Gold Conference defeat at the hands of Forest Hills Eastern, 85-72, lowering their season record to 3-7. The girls’ saw their league record slip to 4-3 and 7-5 overall with a 49-41 loss the homestanding Hawks.
