The Michigan High School Athletic Association has announced boys’ high school district basketball tournament pairings for the week of Monday, March 7, to Friday, March 11.
Wayland is host for the Division 2 District No. 45 tourney. The host Wildcats will take on Hopkins in the opener at 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 7. Allegan (2-17) will play Hastings in the second game that evening at 7 p.m.
The winner of the Hopkins-Wayland contest will take on first-seeded Holland Christian (12-7) at 5:45 Wednesday. The winner of the game between Allegan and Hasting will play Hamilton (6-13).
The finals will be played at 7 p.m. Friday, March 11.
Martin (5-13) will play at 7 p.m. Monday, March 7, against Byron Center Zion Christian (8-10) at the District No. 114 tournament hosted by Climax-Scotts. The host school (12-6) will take on the winner at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian (13-5) will play Kalamazoo Phoenix (9-4) in the 7 p.m. game Wednesday.
The finals will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, March 11 at Climax-Scotts.
