Five members of the Wayland High School orchestra attended an intensive day of music Friday, Nov. 10, at Eastern Michigan University. They were William Gavin, Asher Hendricks, Lauren Seif, Malcom Sheffer and Kayla Shook, who rehearsed music independently for two weeks prior to the event and were joined by 87 other students, representing 32 different schools. The concert was performed that evening, and can be found on the EMU School of Music and Dance YouTube page. Their orchestra was the last group to perform.
