Area teacher, coach Wilbert D. Fleser dies at age 79

Longtime area coach and teacher Wilbert David Fleser died Friday, June 14, at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. He was 79. He was born May 24, 1945, in Grand Rapids, the son of Wilbert and Florence (Rodanhisler) Fleser. Dave received his bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State College and his master’s degree from Western Michigan University.
