A Celebration of Life for longtime Wayland community activist Joan Medendorp will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 16, at Bay Pointe Woods (Across from Bay Pointe) 5100 Oarie Drive Shelbyville. The welcome and short presentation will commence at 1:15. Open bar 1-4, appetizers 2-4. Casual attire, bright colors encouraged.
