Norma J. Luxford, 83, died Saturday, April 1, at her home in Dorr,.She was born on Jan. 6, 1934, to Martin and Laura (Beiber) Harig in Dorr. Norma worked as a caterer for many years.
On March 7, 1953, she married Raymond Luxford, who preceded her in death in 2013. She was a member of Altar Society at St. Mary’s Visitation.
Norma is survived by three sons, Steve Luxford, Mark Luxford, Alan (Brenda) Luxford; two daughters, Kathy Luxford, Sandy (Glen) Corning; grandchildren, Jamie (Bryan) Holmes, Sarah Haner; great-grandchild Sierra Holmes; sister Mary Jane (Bruce) Hyde; sister-in-laws, Maxine Harig, Patricia Harig and Shirley Luxford, son-in-law Dan Haner.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond, daughter Christine Haner, brother-in-law, Adrian Clary, brothers, James Ivan, Harold Lloyd and Donald Harig, and sister Dorothy Clary.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary’s Visitation Tuesday, April 4, from 10 a.m. until time of Mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday April 4, at St. Mary’s Visitation, with burial taking place at North Dorr Cemetery immediately following.
