Funeral will be in Byron Center for Ayden Steinberg

Ayden Matthew Steinberg of Dorr unexpectedly died Thursday, March 16.

Ayden was full of life and love and was surrounded by family and friends who loved him dearly. He loved music, and loved to make music with his drums. He loved everything about the Wayland Union marching band.

He loved attending heavy metal concerts and listening to his record collection. Ayden loved his pets, Mimi, Mocha, and the Fat Kitty, and spent countless hours cuddling and playing with them. He will be loved and missed by many, as we cherish our precious memories.

Ayden is survived by his parents, Steve and Michele Steinberg; grandparents Gary and Diane DeMaagd, Doug and Sara Steinberg, and Julie Bos; great-grandpa, Harry Steinberg; uncles and aunts Brian and Leigha DeMaagd, Nate and Lesley Steinberg; cousins Blake and Brylee DeMaagd, Spencer, Harrison, and Natalie Steinberg.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 24, at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St. SW. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, at the funeral home, with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
