Proud Potawatomi Nation member Chuck Allman dies

Charles E. “Chucphoto_20160411_WM0065083_0_20160411k” Allman age 85, of Gun Lake, died Monday, April 11.
He was a proud member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation.
He is survived by his children Denise (Douglas E. Crews) Allman, Charlie (Dana Roggow) Allman, Jan (Dennis) Allman-Arquilla; Jessica Kimble, Stacy (Chrissy) Kimble, Pam (Colin) Eden, Jason and Justin Dykman; great-grandchildren Gavin Sims, Oscar and Samuel Kimble, Ciara and Kailyn Eden.
He was preceded in death by his wife Suzanne and his brother Leroy Allman.
A Traditional Pipe Ceremony and Talking Circle will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St., Byron Center, with Ronald Komondy from the Six Nations Mohawk Tribe with a time to visit with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of the ceremony.
