All WHS debate team members finish in top 13 at Ionia tourney

The Wayland High School debate team had all 13 team members finish among the top 13 at the West Michigan Legislative Debate League at Ionia High School Wednesday. They were Anabelle Pogodzinski,, first place; Jamie Murray, third;  Savannah Weber, fourth; Eli Merren, fifth;  Sam VerStrate, eighth;  Carissa Yerxa and Rylie Steuer, tied for 11th place, and
Cody James, 13th.
