Allegan County Fair still planned for Sept. 11-19

Allegan County Fair officials dispelled any tumors that Michigan’s oldest fair has been canceled. In the wake of reports that the Ionia and Barry County fairs have been called off this summer, there had been speculation that Allegan’s will join them. A spokesperson posted on Facebook, however, “We are still planning the Sept. 11-19 fair. There will be a delay in kickoff sales for the two Demo Derbies, tractor pulls and the rodeo.
