For undisclosed reasons, Allegan has decided to forfeit Saturday morning’s district tournament softball game to Wayland.

The Wildcats were scheduled to take on the Tigers at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Wildcats, now 26-7-1 for the season overall, now will play the winner of the Hopkins-Middleville Thornapple Kellogg district semifinal, which has been moved into the 10 a.m.slot. That means the finals, which will get under way at noon.

The district tournament is being held at the softball field at Hopkins High School.
