American Heart Challenge has Pine Street ambassador

As the American Heart Challenge approaches, Wayland has its very own heart hero who attends Pine Street Elementary. This year Raihlynn is a youth ambassador for the American Heart Challenge! Raihlynn was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Her teachers and fellow students say she is a hard worker, kind classmate, and all around amazing kid. Raihlynn has designed her very own t-shirt to raise funds for the American Heart Association this year! $5 of each purchase will be donated to the campaign. T-shirts can be ordered from now through Thursday, Feb. 8. For those with children who attend Wayland Union Schools. they will be sent home with them. If they do not attend school, they can be picked up Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 2:30 to 4:30 at Pine Street Elementary.
