Another Dorr exit crash renews calls for flashing red light

Some local residents are calling for reinstallation of a flashing red light on 142nd Avenue at the Dorr exit off the U.S.-131 expressway. Shown here is the scene of a traffic crash there this morning. Transportation officials placed a stop sign for traffic going both east and west, but these big rigs collided when one of them disregarded it.No one was killed or badly injured, but some observers say they worry about future consequences. Others have noted there was a flashing red light there in bygone days.
