It is time for the end of the “silly season” the election campaign season. Socialist or conservative, most of us have had enough of the campaigns inundating us with things that are designed to get our votes and not to inform us.
We are told our nation has never been so divided; we had this event in our history known as the American Civil War, they must not have read about it. If the Civil war was fought today with the same percent of our population as casualties, we would have over 7,000,000 dead Americans and twice that number wounded. During the silly season, facts and truth just do not matter.
Both sides will maintain the other side is lying to us and both sides will be correct, the time-tested truth is as my colleague Ranger Rick wrote in this esteemed publication “how do you know when a politician is lying? Their mouth is moving”. As Senator Bernie Sanders said, they are doing what they need to do and saying what they need to say be pragmatic and get elected. He stated it was not at all lying or flip flopping on issues, just doing what is needed and saying what is needed, he called being pragmatic.
During the silly season some socialist politicians who declared their state or county or city a sanctuary for “migrants” are now advocating for either the national government to pay their bills or for greater border security, to include building the border wall. During the silly season conservatives are blamed for the influx of up to 16 million migrants, as they did not allow an excess of a million migrants a year to enter in each future year? But ask yourself if closing the open gate to a lesser extent and legalizing the millions who entered before are not a problem caused by our government.
The debate, what just may be the first and last debate of this silly season is over, the socialists said Vice President Kamala Harris won, the conservative said President Donald Trump won, again facts just do not matter. The media will call it spin, most folks will call it lying, indeed winning or losing will be dictated by what side of the divide you land on as are truth and fact.
A great example was the Robert Hunter Biden laptop being a Russian plant and President Trump calling Nazis good people, both reported as fact for four years and even today, both are out and out lies.
People who support one party over the other are intelligent, even brilliant. However, if they change parties, they are immediately ignorant and painfully stupid. The saying the truest test of a man’s intelligence is how much they agree with you, is true.
It will be a relief when the silly season is over. However, if President Trump wins, I’m afraid it will start again, with a nonstop meltdown by the media as happened the last time he was elected, even though our nation did not cease to exist.
Be nice if our government released the report on who destroyed the Nord stream pipeline and who Thomas Matthew Crooks emailed to an overseas account before he attempted to assassinate President Trump and did kill Corey Comperatore and wound another.
“This is the most important election in our history”, they will say” I know we said that before, but this time it is true,” again stated by both sides. Both sides say and depending on who you prefer, both sides are wrong that our democracy hangs in the balance, as we are a republic not a democracy. My opinion.
The truth hurts. Democrats hate truth because it exposes them as the Marxists they are.
