by Robert M. Traxler
Regular readers of this column know that I have asked and will keep asking the socialist movement if the settled undeniable 100% fact, the world will end or be on an unstoppable cascade to the end by 2030, is still a slam dunk scientific fact.
The world must cut carbon emissions by 3% to 5% every year from 2009 to 2030; unquestionable, undeniable scientific fact if we fail the end is certain. Question this and you are a damned science denier and anti-intellectual and should just die. Two of the regulars in the Townbroadcast told me I should refuse treatment for advanced cancer as I did not believe in science; heartless? You decide.
The UNESCO Courier maintains in an article by Catriona McKinnon that any political leaders who deny the science of climate change must be charged criminally, as they are contributing to mass murder. This bring us to a larger point — the socialist movement is criminalizing dissent, words not actions; free speech is not so free any more, nor can it be allowed in a socialist movement/revolution.
The five parts of the First Amendment, freedom of speech, press, religion, assembly and to petition the government must be eliminated or ignored for socialism to get its ugly grasp on our nation. The fact that socialism has never worked for long is forgotten by the geniuses in the anti-Constitution movement.
The same folks who tell us the world will be on an unstoppable end by 2030 are the same folks who tell us we need to be a socialist nation. One would think our friends in the press would ask the Senator Bernie Sanders and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of this world why they support a concept of government that has failed thousands of times. From communes of a few to two of the largest nations in the world, there are well over 43 million dead attributed to the failed socialist systems.
If it had any integrity, the media would ask the climate change end-of-the-world crowd the logical question: is it true, and do you still believe it? Will they? Not, a chance in hell, terrified of being canceled.
Five years ago, I was eating dinner at a local restaurant with the most liberal man I know. The conversation turned to climate change and the end of the world. I questioned it and he looked me straight in the eye and with an angry tone asked, “You are not a damned science denier are you?” Never once since then, although asked numerous times, has he answered the question; is the end of the world in 2030 still unquestionable, undeniable, settled science?
The nations of China and India aided by Viet Nam and other emerging nations are dumping more carbon into the atmosphere than the United States, Canada and the European Union combined. The demand was made to cut the worldwide carbon emissions by 3% to 5% each and every year, or the end the world as we know it would be unstoppable. The United States and the EU cut carbon but the rest not only did not cut, but increased it by more than was cut by developed nations, a lot more.
China is burning train loads of North Korean dirty, high sulfur coal every day. The logical conclusion is that we are doomed to a future certain, the end is near, right, we must believe it, it is an undeniable truth, right?
Our president still maintains that climate change is the greatest threat to our democracy, though he has ceased saying the world will end in 2030. Strangely so, as the millions who told us we must believe it or be a damned science denier and anti-intellectual. The same folks who maintained that treatment for a life-threatening horrible disease should be denied to those of us who questioned the end of the world as undeniable fact of climate change. Folks, you can’t make this stuff up; got to love the kind, caring American Socialist movement.
So, one more time to all of you who have waxed eloquently in the Townbroadcast over the last number of years that the end is near: please be so kind as to say if you are making any plans for life after 2030. Please let us know if you are now a damned science denier and anti-intellectual, or are you preparing for the end of the world?
Here we go again blaming all those socialist Mr Traxler can’t stand but Ifound This story in the GRIST publication. story was originally published by Newsweek and appears here as part of the Climate Desk collaboration.
The vast majority of scientists agree climate change is an existing, growing, and human-made threat to our planet. And yet the topic is a divisive issue in the U.S. — not least among people of faith.
White evangelical Christians in particular are, on average, more likely to question whether human activity contributed to the Earth’s warming, with research by Pew suggesting 28 percent accept this view, compared with 64 percent of those without a religious affiliation, 56 percent of black Protestants, and 41 percent of mainline Protestants. Over a third of evangelical Christians say there is “no solid evidence” that climate change is happening.
Some evangelicals argue that global warming is of little concern when the end times are approaching. Indeed, it could even be proof of it.
Bible verses are also pointed to as evidence humans are required to subdue Earth, that God is in control, and global warming is part of His plan. Others see it as a liberal hoax and a means to push folks away from religion towards the government.
But that’s not the whole picture. As author Katharine K. Wilkinson explores in her book Between God & Green: How Evangelicals Are Cultivating a Middle Ground on Climate Change, a subset of evangelicals are concerned about the environment, and are actively campaigning to protect it. By looking at the intersection of religion and politics, Wilkinson found members of what is known as the ‘care movement’ believe humans are custodians of the planet — and it is our duty to protect God’s creation. So which one is it Mr Traxler?God or the Chinese, just last week on the family channel a Christian tv show said it was the events of the lord and Jesus is coming, so if you’re not in with God you need to move ASAP, are you ready Mr Traxler?
Mr. Annable,
Sir, thank you for the comment. The question is, is the end of the world due to carbon in the atmosphere in 2030 still a fact. The religious aspects are not in the column and not contained in the slam dunk fact of the end of the world predictions from the likes of AOC and Senator Sanders along with the socialist movement.
Let’s stick to the subject and not go off on other paths. Is the world ending due to climate change in 2030 or not?
The article you pass off as yours is from News Week and GRIST. It is called plagiarism look into it.
AB,
Maybe 2030 will finally chime in…………probably not……….
Cheers!!
I said I found this in the GRIST publication, so it’s not plagiarism, and what’s the difference, your blaming socialist for saying the world is coming to and end, even though there’s enough evidence of climate change right in front of your face, so is it carbon or God? But the religious groups get a free pass, but once again you failed to answer the question. Are you ready?
