Our Michigan governor sent the State Police, with legal documents/orders in hand, to threaten a 75-year-old grandad and small businessman in Dorr. They said that if the Fourth of July celebration were held, they would have to “take action.”
Did the State Police go to the Black Lives Matter leader in Muskegon to stop the event planned for Heritage Landing on July 4? Did the State Police go to the Black Lives Matter leader and threaten him before 10,000 gathered in Grand Rapids? Not a chance in hell; protests and destruction are not a violation of the governor’s lock up/lock down orders.
A celebration of our nation’s birth is a crime; good God, what is the goal of all of this? It is not to protect people from a virus; if it were, all gatherings of 100 or more people, even the left-wing ones, would be banned and not encouraged. But the goal is to punish those who work hard and love our country and wish to show it, and to extol the virtues of politically correct organizations.
The unofficial, private, “Restore Freedom” 4th of July parade is a counter protest to the unfair double standard set by our governor. I will not attend, being in the high-risk group, but I wish them a safe, enjoyable time. This is a real grassroots protest; no national or regional organization involved, just a good group of Americans who want to stand firm for America.
To all the good folks protesting the existence of our nation under the guise of supporting Black Lives Matter, please be so kind as to tell us where they will find a perfect nation? Venezuela, Cuba, China? A perfect person? Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Maximilian Francois Marie Isidore de Robespierre, socialists all.
If only the perfect need apply for reverence, just where do you find a perfect person? If the monuments to President Grant, Lincoln and others ahead of their time in freeing the oppressed are targets, are protesters truly supporting the civil rights movement, or is their goal the destruction of American society? Do they strive for the installation of a pure socialist government, or for understanding our nation in context of the time?
Monuments to Civil War and World War II African American soldiers are desecrated in the name of civil rights? Folks, you can’t make this stuff up.
During the Army’s Terrorism Counteraction Course, we had as a reading requirement Mao’s Little Red Book; all of this is a page straight out of Mao’s teachings. To replace our form of government that has not been perfect, but the best ever created by mankind or personhood, with a socialist system, you must first degrade and condemn our history. The founders must be painted as criminals with evil intent. The national heroes characterized as flawed, racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, claustrophobic and arachnophobic, criminals all.
As I stated before, the American left is its own worst enemy. It gets momentum and some public support, and then it gets into the truly stupid over-the-top radical mode, and the people dismiss them. Thank God for the older and unaccountable leftist leaders who are pure socialists and extreme radicals, and the young and naïve who follow them. The radicals scare the crap out of the 95% of Americans who are content with and love our nation as founded, warts and all.
Do we follow the demands of the extreme left and bulldoze Arlington National Cemetery, because the land was owned by Confederate General Robert E. Lee and worked by slaves? Do we rewrite our history to render it all politically correct? Should the news coverage be unfair and one-sided? Should our colleges and universities be unfair and offer only the one course of action as acceptable?
No, but they do. Say capitalism is evil and socialism is good and you get an A+ at Harvard, and most American colleges and universities, after you paid the fee, of course.
Perfection just does not exist; especially if you do not want something to be perfect, flaws can and will be discovered in every person, place or thing. In every violent socialist revolution, the common John and Jane do the bleeding and the dying, while the 5%, the most radical, take over and get rich and powerful.
It may take years, but the socialist revolutions end in disaster, always have, always will. The ignorant and naive always think that their revolution will be the exception.

“My Governor Is An Idiot” at the bottom it added “Pure Moron”
Sums it up nicely and simply. She is out of control.
For those of you so scared of getting the Communist Chinese Coronavirus (aka COVID 19), stay home in your cocoon. For the rest of us Americans, get on with living life.

Got to ask just how a gathering of 10,000 shoulder to shoulder is safe but a parade with fewer people spread out over miles is not? This is an outrage and tells us just how a socialist government will be run.
