Army Bob: Right-wingers rioting; the media says so

Presidential candidate and former Vice President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. has a campaign ad out stating that right-wing protesters and militias are responsible for the violence in our nation, fomented by President Donald Trump. The shortest list in the world is right-wing militias who support Black Lives Matter and Antifa.

The mayors of Seattle and Portland blamed the violence in their cities on out-of-town right wing activists. OK, both said it in the early weeks of the protests and have now stopped blaming the right (well, except for President Trump) for the violence.

Both mayors had “conclusive proof” that plane loads of right-wing thugs had descended on their cities and fomented all the violence; ABC,NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNBC, PBS and the major print media all reported it as a fact, well for two days, then it disappeared.

This is just one more example in a long list of incorrect but politically correct media reports. Before reporting it, did the media bother to investigate? No, because they just report what the mayors said. Did they ask the mayors if they had any proof? No. Did they actually interview the rioters/protesters? No. Did they ever retract the story when proven false? Not a chance.

A more recent example is the report that President Trump called dead American Marines and soldiers losers. The story was trumpeted in this esteemed publication and was wall-to-wall in the media. Not one named source, not one document, not one person named, just unnamed/reliable sources — in plain English, hearsay, rumors and innuendo.

What was true was that two people who came forward and gave their names, and who were in attendance, said it did not happen. Truth? Who cares, it is a good story that the media desperately wants to be true, so they knowingly report a lie.

This story is right up there with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Minority leader of the Senate,  the head of the House Judiciary Committee, and Vice President Biden all saying that they had absolute proof that would come out in the Muller Report, that President Trump was a paid Russian agent. The story was never retracted, nor did the liars issue an apology. The media still prints their words as 100% unqualified and believable, despite past open and bold lies.

The fair and balanced media just ignored a left-wing militia group, the John Brown Gun Club, actively carrying the dreaded AR-15 and AK-47 with 30 round magazines in the CHAZ or CHOP Zone in Seattle. Photos were available showing them well armed, manning check points, and limiting access to the Capital Hill Autonomous Zone. They were available but too politically incorrect to print/show.

Switching gears, let’s talk about the COVID-19 vaccine. The world has an ongoing,  enormous campaign to find a vaccine.  Hundreds of billions of dollars, yen, rubles, renminbi, shekels and others have been spent, along with millions of research hours by the best labs in the world, and as predicted some six months ago, we are on the verge of large-scale human trials. The sainted Dr. Anthony Fauci said weeks ago that we are awfully close to the start of clinical trials of a vaccine for COVID-19.

Time to cheer? Not so fast. The media and Democrats are condemning the process, it is too soon. After the election would be good, so what if thousands die in the ensuing weeks, they cannot give the President credit for the herculean effort to find a vaccine.

President Trump established a commission to oversee the use and distribution of the vaccine when it is developed named Operation Warp Speed. HHS, the CDC and DOD have plans in place to produce and distribute the vaccine; it will not come as a surprise that Democrats, to include Senator Kamala Harris, have condemned the process before even seeing it. Senator Harris even says she may not take a vaccine if President Trump approves it.

The public should be outraged, but media have buried the story. If a vaccine comes out before the election, it will be interesting to observe the media and Democrats  condemn it every day and twice on Sundays.
