The City of Wayland kicked off the Christmas season with the annual Art Hop celebration downtown Friday evening and the holiday parade. Members of the Wayland High School Strings Orchestra and Choir were featured in the Art Hop festivities. Highlighting the parade was Grand Marshals Mr. and Mrs. Linden Anderson. “Lindy” is former mayor, assistant high school principal, plan commission member, teacher and coach.
