Wayland had its annual Art Hop Friday afternoon and evening, and one of the stops was at the Jayda Gale Distillery building at the corner of South Main and Pine Streets downtown. Visitors who dropped in got a chance to take a peek at some of the interior decor of the facility. Co-owner Amanda Alfred said the project on the distillery is proceeding slowly, but surely because the proprietors both work during the week and perform construction and remodeling tasks on weekends. The historic building most recently was home to Wayland Carpet & Linoleum. (Photo supplied)

Amanda and Ryan have assured me that I will be their first customer of the sampler. Am patiently waiting and know it will be worth the wait. Another great addition to "Downtown Wayland".
