Bernard Bixler named Wayland Veteran of the Year

Bernard Bixler (left) receives a plaque from the City of Wayland as the Veteran of the Year  for his “Leadership, Devotion and Patriotic Service as a member of the Armed Forces in Defense of the Rights and Freedom of every Citizen of the United States of America.” Presenting the award is Mayor of Wayland Tim Bala, Floyd Hitchcock, the Commander at the Wayland VFW Post, in the background.
