The Big Dipper ice cream parlor now is going year-round by serving as a coffee shop.
Owner Taylor Emert said her dream her whole life was to own a coffee and dessert shop. After saving for many years and working since she was 16 years old, her dream came true with the purchase of the Big Dipper Wayland.
“I am excited about adding coffee menu items along with new ice cream options,” she said. “We will be staying open all year now and our ice cream and coffee menus will have feature items based on the season. I know that we do not have indoor seating, but we are adding igloos to help heat our customers.”
The drive-thru is open for year-round service as well.
