The season hasn’t been completed until the end of this week, but MHSAA girls’ district basketball pairings have been announced.

The districts will be held Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Feb. 27 and March 1 and 3. Wayland and Hopkins will be in the Division 2 districts at Hopkins and Martin will be at Decatur for Division 4 action. Hamilton and Allegan will meet in the district opener at Monday at the Vikings’ gym. The winner will face tourney top seeded Wayland at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Host Hopkins will take on Holland Christian later Wednesday, at 7 p.m.

The finals will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, March 3.

Both Holland Christian and Hamilton are 14-6 on their seasons thus far, Hopkins is 13-6 and Wayland is 17-3.

Like Wayland, Martin (15-4) drew a bye for the first round and will take on the winner of an opening contest Monday between host Decatur (5-14) and Byron Center Zion Christian (16-4). That semifinal will get under way at 5:30 Wednesday, March 1. A game between Lawrence (12-8) and Eau Claire (3-8) also will be on opening night and the winner will play Kalamazoo Hackett (13-7) at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The finals are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, March 3.
