Bowling champ decides on where she’ll go to college

Michigan Division 2 state bowling champion Sidney Urben finally has made her choice for college next fall. She will attend the Catholic Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she intends to continue her bowling career as a member of the Mustangs. Urben graduated from Wayland High School this spring with academic honors. She won the state individual championship last March and was runner-up two years ago as a sophomore. She also was a solid slugger as a member of the Wildcat softball team, but her forte is bowling.
