Veteran bus driver Brenda Kraima, recently was hired as the new transportation supervisor for Wayland Union Schools.

Kraima has been a bus driver for the district for 18 years and resides in the district.

“We are pleased to have someone in this position who is very familiar with our district and has an established relationship with our drivers and mechanics,” said Bill Melching, Director of Finance & Operations. “She is committed to the safety of our students and I’m confident she will be an asset to the department in her new role.”

Kraima replaces former Transportation Supervisor Bryan Keeler, who resigned in December after taking a position in another field.
