“They say that all good things must end someday” is a line from the Chad & Jeremy “Summer Song” in 1964. Such is the case with the historical relics that are the gasoline pumps at C-D’s Quik Mart in downtown Hopkins. The station will be closed for one day this week (Monday, Nov. 6) to make way for installation of newer and more modern pumps. Hopkins community activist Vicki Swainston quipped that perhaps now local motorists will have to learn how to operate the new systems.
