Career Connections Academy celebrated the accomplishments of their seniors in a small ceremony May 17.
Students created displays featuring their skills and future aspirations for parents and community members. Similar to a graduation ceremony, students received recognition for academic and career related honors.
Senior Hannah Hoover gave a memorable and emotional speech highlighting her experiences in Wayland Union Schools and CCA. Autumn Jones and Nick Wnuk were presented the CCA Department award for excellence in academics and outstanding character.
The audience was also entertained by a senior video with photos from throughout the school year. Finally, everyone was treated to cake and refreshments to top off the evening.
