Celebration of Life delayed for Marie Cook of Hopkins

Marie Cook, age 85 of Hopkins, died Sunday, May 31.

Marie was talented, from her homemade pies to handmade towels, she was good at everything she attempted. She loved to crochet, her abilities where amazing to see and she had them to the very end.

She is survived by her children Mark (Jac-ee) Cook, Larry (Ruth) Cook, Lewis (Debra) Cook, Don (Tonya) Cook, Doug Cook and Patty (Russ) Vos; daughter-in-law Therese Cook; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister Grace Thorpe; in-laws Pauline (Bud) McCurdy, Darlene (Harold) Bosheares, Delores (Denny) Diekevers.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Gene; her son Michael Cook and grandson Richard Talsma.
